With a bachelor of art degree in business administration, Benjy Orbach has experience in various aspects of business such as sales, finance, and operation management. A resident of Methuen, Massachusetts, Benjy Orbach gives back to his community by participating in worthy causes, such as a yearly race hosted by the Susan G. Komen Organization.
In 1982, Nancy G. Brinker founded the Susan G. Komen Organization, named for her sister who lost her battle with breast cancer. The organization aims to fund research that examines treatments and cures for breast cancer while also influencing public policy to support patients and offering resources to those impacted by the disease. To carry out that goal, the organization hosts the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, a series of five-kilometer run routed through communities across the country.
Participants in the run raise money through their own networks of family and friends to be donated to the cause. Events take place throughout the year in a variety of locations.
