Eating at a restaurant

Based in Methuen, Massachusetts, Benjy Orbach has nearly three decades of experience as a general business administrator and sales leader. In addition to his professional activities, Benjy Orbach enjoys exploring the culinary scenes in cities in New England and beyond.

Boston’s food scene changes quickly, and that means diners have lots of new restaurants to try each year. Here are some of the newest restaurants receiving acclaim from leading industry publications in 2019.

Peregrine
Located inside of a hotel, this restaurant received press from Thrillist for its half- and full-sized pastas, Italian-style entrees, and bar snacks, which are complementary with the purchase of a glass of wine at select times on weekdays.

Kim's Tofu
Eater Boston features Kim's Tofu on its map of the hottest new restaurants in Boston. The Korean restaurant makes tofu from scratch for its stews, which come with a choice of kimchi, beef, or other bases.

Black Lamb
Boston Magazine highlights Black Lamb, helmed by Best of Boston honoree Colin Lynch. An American brasserie, the restaurant features fancy comfort food with a European flare (such as a plate of duck breast frites), plus a raw bar.
